Some fashion, some music, some styles never get old. There is a Spotify gesture that people used to love, which is back for the public interest. People love using this feature, but some people are getting upset for taking down the features when it is gone. 2 years ago, Spotify had a feature where you need to swipe down to search the song in the playlist.
Spotify wanted to back the gesture; that’s why they created a poll for users. It just got 2700+ forum requests for bringing back the gesture, and the developers are ready to bring it back again. There are also countless complaints launched to bring back the old gestures. These could be the reasons that the Spotify community is introducing the old gesture again after two years. The developers decided to test this old feature again on the android version by using old code or some new intern dug. They want to introduce this latest version with some new touch without any notice.
Now we can swipe down to change the sorting option and find our favorite track or artist while browsing the playlist. We don’t need to trawl through the menu and achieve it.
With the software update (version 188.8.131.529) of the app, android users can enjoy this gesture. There is no official announcement by Spotify that Spotify may only give to those who wanted this feature in forum requests for limited sample tests.
They are also working on iOS devices; until then, they can like or unlike their playlist using swipe left and right.
There is no swipe left and suitable options for like and dislike of songs for android users. They are also working on it, so lots of new things will arrive in the next update. Stay tuned for that.
